THE MARVIN BOWER SCHOLARSHIP at BALLIOL COLLEGE OXFORD




Students of any nationality applying to read for International Relations, Management or Business Studies (excluding the MBA), Economics, or Mathematics23 January 2015
The College seeks to elect a Marvin Bower Scholar. Candidates will have an offer of admission to

Oxford University and a place at Balliol College to read for a higher degree in International

Relations, Management or Business Studies (excluding the MBA), Economics, or Mathematics,

commencing in the academic year 2015-2016.

The Scholarship may be offered in conjunction with a University Clarendon Fund Award, or may

be awarded separately. When awarded jointly with the Clarendon Fund, the Scholarship covers all

University and College fees, and a grant for living expenses. If the Scholarship is awarded alone, its

value will be £6,250 per annum for the duration of the Scholar’s course, subject to satisfactory

academic progress.

Applicants must apply to the University of Oxford for admission to a higher degree by the

University’s second deadline in January. No separate application is required to be considered for

this award.
