mathmods scholarsips for mathematical modeling engineering


We’re glad to announce that the application for the 2015/2017 batch of the MathMods Master’s Course (and its related Erasmus Mundus scholarships) has just been opened.

Please note that some of the information on the scholarship page is still to be updated as we’re waiting for the EACEA to confirm the number of scholarhips and special windows we will be assigned this year.

EM scholarships are awarded to the most talented applicants who will be full-time students enrolled on the MathMods MSc course, based on the evaluation made by the MathMods Evaluation Committee.


Who is eligible?


Category A includes applicants who meet ALL the requirements below:


  1. Applicants who are from a country which is not:
    • EU (28 European Union member states).

    • Non-EU Programme Countries (former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey).


  2. Applicants who have never benefited from an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship.

  3. Applicants who have not carried out their activities (study, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the EU or Non-EU Programme Countries. The reference date for this rule is 28 February 2015.

 


Category B includes European students as well as students who do not fulfil the criteria for Category A.
Windows Additional Category-A and Category-B scholarships will be awarded to applicants coming from specific geographical regions. (TO BE UPDATED SOON)

  • Category A: 5 scholarships.

  • Category B: 2 scholarships.

  • Windows: 3 scholarships (one for each the 3 Windows, see above).


Please also notice that:


In addition to the criteria stated above (Who is eligible?), also notice that:


  • No more than 2 students selected for scholarship shall have the same nationality.

  • Students can apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship to any EM Master’s course of their choice but the number of applications must be limited to a maximum of three courses.

  • Students benefiting from an EM Master’s courses scholarship cannot benefit from another Community grant while pursuing their Erasmus Mundus masters studies.

  • EM Master’s courses students scholarships are awarded exclusively for a full-time enrolment in one of the course editions.
